Separate Check-in for Retreat Participants:
At Grand Ballroom Level 2 (From Hotel Lobby, follow signs). Welcome drink at same place.
Official Check-in Time: 3:00 pm
Rooms will only be progressively made available after 3 pm. Please be patient as the Hotel is fully booked and time is needed to clean the rooms.
Basement Carpark:
Look out for our Retreat signs leading to the Hotel Lobby/Registration Counter. You need your keycard to enjoy free parking. You may want to park outside hotel and re-park after registration to avoid paying RM2.

ASSIGNMENT FOR APARTMENTS
If you have registered for an apartment, please occupy only the room assigned to you.
Key Cards:
In the apartments, individual rooms cannot be locked from the outside. Only the main door to the apartment can be locked from the outside. 2 key cards per unit of 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom apartments.

SAFE
DEPOSIT BOXES
Try to bring the least amount of valuables. A safe is available in each Hotel Room and safe deposit boxes are available at the Hotel Reception.

Bus will leave at 1:30pm. Sis Pauline Balraj (Bus Captain) will be in attendance to mark your attendance. Sis Linda will assist with the NexGen campers.

YOU PREPARE FOR METRO CHURCH CAMP 2014 CONNECT ACTIVITIES
General
1. Please bring and use sunblock, hats and umbrellas as you would probably be walking a lot in hot sun regardless of the activity you have chosen to participate in.
2. Please wear suitable and comfortable shoes and clothing.
3. Please bring sufficient cash for so you don’t need to go hunting for an ATM machine.
4. Please wear a smile and have fun getting to know and connect with other church members.

c) Gopeng Heritage House
1. The heritage house is only open on weekends, so,
it’ll be best to visit it on the way to Ipoh on Sunday 30th Nov.

3. Please note that this place is run by volunteers
and would appreciate donations to continue the upkeep of the heritage house.
d) Gua Tempurung – Extreme Adventure &

There are multiple tours daily; a tour starts every 30 minutes.

Each tour lasts approximately 40 minutes.

To participate in this, make your way to the cave, pay for the ticket
and join the next available tour.

All visitors to buy & wear sticker ticket before entering the
cave.
·
All visitors must be accompanied by cave ranger & comply with
instructions given.
·
Do not throw rubbish inside the cave or draw on the cave walls.
·
Wear suitable clothing for the cave tour activities – long pants &
long-sleeved shirt for extra protection.
Extreme Adventure participants should bring a change of clothing too
as you will get wet & muddy.

Wear sports shoes or secured sandals; don’t wear slippers or
flip-flops.
·
Bring one torchlight per person; preferably headlight or hang the
torchlight around your body.
·
Do not carry valuables into the cave or during the activities.
·
Please refrain from the program if you have asthma or heart disease.

Park Rules
|
1. No outside food or beverage is
allowed into the park.
2. Dress code applies:
o No jeans in the Water Park
o Swimwear not to be skimpy
3. Children above 90cm require an
entrance ticket.
4. Some attractions have height and
physical restrictions.
5. Entry wrist-band is for single
entry only (if you need to go outside for a while, please inform the security
guard and obtain a re-entry wrist band before you exit).
6. Your bags will be subject to
inspection during entry.

Food & Beverage
|
·
There are multiple restaurants inside the park, serving a variety of
food ranging from Asian to Western-style food. Expect to pay approximately RM15-20 per
person for food & drink.
·
Payment for food is through the use of RFID pre-paid cards with a
minimum pre-paid amount of RM10. Also,
an additional RM10 deposit is required for the card. Unused monetary value in the card can be
refunded.

Amenities

Multiple entry lockers can be rented for RM10 each subject to availability.
·
A First Aid room attended by a nurse is available at the park.
·
Lifeguards are in attendance at the Water Park.
·
Electric buggy rides are available every 15 minutes from 12pm to 6pm
daily.
·
Tubes can be rented for use at the Water Park for RM25 (of which RM10
is a deposit that will be refunded upon return of the tube to the park).
